| Default Web Site on IIS doesn't start - even after reinstalling IIS. |
|
So you've setup a new server, Windows Server 2003 R2 (32bit or 64bit) and IIS doesn't work. You look at IIS manager and the Default Web Site is stopped. Here's the solution: Start --> run --> cmd --> Regedit --> Expand and right-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENT VERSION\SVCHOST and modify allow Full Access for administrator. Then uninstall and reinstall IIS. |
